The Mazda driver was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries
Tillamook County, OR. – One person was killed and another was seriously injured in a head-on collision in Tillamook County on Friday, according to the Oregon State Police.
The deadly collision occurred around 9:30 a.m. on October 3 on Highway 6 near milepost 32.
Police said a Mazda 3 was traveling westbound when it entered the eastbound passing lane, for unknown reasons, and crashed head-on into an eastbound Scion xD.
The driver of the Scion died at the scene.
The Mazda driver was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
The collision remains under investigation.
