The driver succumbed to his injuries despite the life-saving efforts by the Mesilla Fire Department
Mesilla, N.M. – A man was killed in a rollover car crash early Saturday morning in Mesilla.
According to local police, the accident happened around 2:30 a.m. on Calle De Paso near Pecana Street.
A BMW was traveling southbound at a high rate of speed when the driver failed to negotiate a curb and went airborne into the park, where it overturned several times and came to rest on its wheels.
The driver, an Albuquerque man, succumbed to his injuries despite the life-saving efforts by the Mesilla Fire Department.
The man was the only occupant of the vehicle.
More details about the accident were not released.
