Las Vegas, NV. – A motorcyclist was critically injured in a collision on Saturday afternoon in Las Vegas.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 2:40 p.m. at Ann Road and Old Grove Way near Decatur Boulevard.

A motorcycle was traveling eastbound on Ann Road when it crashed into a Kia Sorento attempting to make a left from a marked stop sign.

The 75-year-old motorcyclist was ejected and was transported to an area hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.

The 44-year-old driver of the Kia showed signs of impairment and was arrested and booked into the Clark County Detention Center on charges including DUI resulting in substantial bodily harm.
