Franklin County, IN. – A motorcyclist was killed in a collision on Saturday afternoon in Laurel.
According to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened around 2:44 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 121 and Old U.S. 52.
An SUV was pulling onto State Road 121 from Old U.S. 52 when it drove into the path of a motorcycle.
The 69-year-old motorcyclist was ejected from the bike and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
Police say the victim was not wearing a helmet.
The SUV driver was not injured.
