Geneseo, IL. – At least one person was injured following a rollover collision on Wednesday evening near Geneseo, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident occurred at about 5:00 p.m. on October 1 on eastbound I-80.
Police said a single vehicle crashed and overturned for reasons still under investigation. The vehicle rested in the median after the accident.
At least one person was flown to an area hospital for treatment.
Police closed both eastbound lanes following the collision.
An investigation is ongoing.
