Phoenix, AZ. – A juvenile motorcyclist was killed Sunday afternoon in an accident in North Phoenix, according to the authorities.
The fatal accident happened around 3:30 p.m. on September 28, at the intersection of Cave Creek Road and Grovers Avenue, between Bell Road and Union Hills Drive.
Authorities said the boy was riding a motorcycle southbound on Cave Creek Road when an elderly woman who was driving a car turned onto Grovers Avenue, in front of him, resulting in a collision.
The boy was taken to a hospital in critical condition where he later died.
The woman was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
No other details were immediately available.
Authorities are investigating the accident.
