Police said an SUV was exiting a McDonald’s when it crashed into a northbound motorcycle traveling on the curbside lane.
Libertyville, IL. – A motorcyclist was critically hurt after a traffic collision on Sunday evening in Libertyville.
According to the Libertyville Police Department, the accident happened at about 5:44 p.m. on September 28, on North Milwaukee Avenue near Walnut Street.
Police said an SUV was exiting a McDonald’s when it crashed into a northbound motorcycle traveling on the curbside lane.
The rider was taken to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The SUV occupants were not injured in the collision.
Authorities closed a portion of Milwaukee Avenue to give way to an on-scene investigation.
An investigation by the Libertyville Police Department and the Lake County Major Crash Assistance Team is ongoing.
