A pickup truck was traveling at a high rate of speed when it rear-ended a semi-truck.
Tukwila, WA. – One person was injured early Friday morning in a DUI Accident in Tukwila, according to the WSP.
The accident happened on September 26 on the northbound SR-99 just north of SR-599.
WSP said a pickup truck was traveling at a high rate of speed when it rear-ended a semi-truck.
The force of the impact caused one wheel of the pickup truck to rip off the truck and merge with the rear end of the semi.
The pickup truck driver sustained a broken leg and was arrested for DUI.
No other details were provided.
The WSP is investigating the accident.
