LaGrange, IN. – A motorcyclist was killed in a chain-reaction collision on Wednesday afternoon in LaGrange.

According to the Indiana State Police, the accident happened around 2:45 p.m. on US 20 near CR 350 W.

A semi-tractor reportedly struck a Chrysler Pacifica that was stopped in the westbound lanes of traffic due to traffic.

The impact pushed the Chrysler into a motorcycle that was also stopped.

The Pacifica was also pushed into an eastbound lane, striking an eastbound pickup truck.

The rider, a 67-year-old LaGrange man, was seriously injured and flown to Parkview Regional Medical Center, where he later died.

The drivers of the Pacifica and pickup truck were injured in the accident and were transported to an area hospital, where they were treated and released.
