DeKalb County, IN. – A 61-year-old New Haven man was critically injured after being struck by a car on Tuesday morning in DeKalb County.
The accident happened around 11:50 a.m. near the intersection of S.R. 8 and C.R. 49.
The New Haven man was driving a dump truck east on the highway when he lost control and hit a phone box and a road sign before overturning.
The driver had to be extricated before being taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
