LaPorte County, IN. – One person was killed in a bicycle accident on Saturday morning in LaPorte.
According to local police, the accident happened just before 12 p.m. at the intersection of State Road 39 and County Road 900 North.
A 29-year-old Chicago man was riding a bicycle and was struck by a southbound semi being driven by a 64-year-old DeMotte man.
The bicyclist was killed in the accident.
