Pembroke Pines, FL. – A Pembroke Pines police officer was hospitalized after a multi-vehicle collision on Thursday morning in Pembroke Pines.
According to Pembroke Pines Police Department, the crash happened on westbound Pines Boulevard at 96th Avenue on September 18.
Police said three-vehicles were involved in the collision. One of the drivers made an improper turn left directly into the front of the police cruiser.
The officer was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries sustained in the collision.
The other drivers declined medical treatment.
The roadway was temporarily shut down to give way to an on-scene investigation.
No additional information concerning this crash was provided.
