Canal Point, FL. – A driver was killed after crashing into a tractor trailer carrying milk on Wednesday afternoon in Palm Beach County, according to Palm Beach County Fire Rescue (PBCFR).
The crash happened around 12:15 p.m. on September 18, on U.S. Highway 441, between Hole in the Wall Road and Morning Star Farms Road.
Officials said a tractor trailer carrying approximately 7,800 gallons of milk and a vehicle collided for reasons yet to be determined. The trailer overturned against an embankment, spilling milk into a nearby field following the collision. No fuel spill was reported.
The driver of the vehicle was declared dead at the crash site.
It was not immediately known if the trailer driver was hurt in the accident.
An investigation is underway.
