LaPorte County, IN. – 32-year-old Richard N. Nagy has been identified as the man who died in a car crash on Friday night in LaPorte County.
According to local police, the accident happened in the 5700 block of Schultz Road at around 10:19 p.m.
The man was driving a black 2023 Chevrolet Corvette eastbound on Schultz Road when he veered off the highway and struck several objects. The vehicle came to rest in a corn field and caught fire.
Nagy, a firefighter with the Michigan City Fire Department, was killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
