The vehicle came to rest in a corn field and caught fire
LaPorte County, IN. – One person was killed in a car crash on Friday night in LaPorte County.
According to local police, the accident happened in the 5700 block of Schultz Road at around 10:19 p.m.
A black 2023 Chevrolet Corvette was heading eastbound on Schultz Road when it veered off the highway and struck several objects. The vehicle came to rest in a corn field and caught fire.
The driver was killed in the accident.
More details about the accident were not released.
