The deadly accident happened just before 1:00 a.m. on September 12 on Interstate 10 near Ray and Warner roads.

Tempe, AZ – A man was killed early Friday morning in a pedestrian accident in Tempe, according to the Arizona DPS.
The deadly accident happened just before 1:00 a.m. on September 12 on Interstate 10 near Ray and Warner roads.
DPS said the man was attempting to cross the freeway when he was struck by a vehicle.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
The accident closed that area of westbound I-10, and traffic was diverted to exit at Warner Road and then re-enter the freeway. It was reopened just before 5:00 a.m.
The DPS is investigating the accident.
