Police said two vehicles collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
Perry County, IL. – Two people were killed after a traffic collision early Saturday morning south of Pinckneyville, in Perry County, according to the Illinois State Police.
The deadly collision occurred a while before 4:30 a.m. on September 6 on Illinois 127 at Galum Church Road.
Police said two vehicles collided head-on in unclear circumstances.
The two drivers and the sole occupants of their vehicles were declared dead at the crash site.
The road was blocked until at around 7:30 a.m.
No other information regarding this collision was provided.
The incident remains under investigation.
