Linn County, OR – A woman was killed in a pedestrian accident in Linn County Sunday evening, authorities confirmed.
The deadly crash happened at around 7:26 p.m. on August 31 on Highway 34 near milepost 10.
According to police, the pedestrian, identified as Hollenia Ann Russel, 44, of Albany, entered the highway and was struck by a westbound Dodge Avenger driven by Breanna Demae Fitch, 27, of Lebanon.
The Russel died at the scene while the driver sustained minor injuries.
The highway was impacted for about three hours as police carried out on-scene investigations.
