Police said Suarez was attempting to turn left into US 17-92 and had a green light on when she was hit head-on by a truck.

Seminole County, FL. – Regina Suarez was injured after a head-on collision on Tuesday morning in Seminole County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred a while after 6:00 a.m. on September 2, on US 17-92 from Ronald Reagan Boulevard.

Police said Suarez was attempting to turn left into US 17-92 and had a green light on when she was hit head-on by a truck.

She was assisted to get out of her vehicle by a male Good Samaritan before emergency crews arrived.

She was taken to the hospital by ground ambulance for treatment of an arm injury.

The involved driver remained at the scene.

The Seminole County Sheriff’s Office and Seminole County Fire Department also assisted at the scene.

An investigation is underway.
