Skagit County, WA – A rider was killed Sunday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in Skagit County, according to the Washington State Patrol (WSP).

The deadly accident happened on August 31 on North Cascades Highway near Dalles Road.

WSP said 48-year-old Wesley Feller of Arlington was riding a motorcycle eastbound on the highway. He failed to stop in time and collided with a car that was attempting to turn westbound onto the highway from Dalles Road.

Feller was killed in the accident.

It was unclear if the driver of the car, a 28-year-old Concrete woman, will face any charges.

Failure to yield was the cause of the accident.

Drugs or alcohol were not a factor in the accident.

The WSP is investigating the accident.
