Police confirmed a motorcycle and a commercial vehicle collided in unclear circumstances.

Cook County, IL. – One person was killed after a motorcycle accident on Tuesday morning in Chicago’s south suburbs, Cook County, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident occurred at about 1:30 a.m. on September 3 on southbound I-294 (Tri-State Tollway), just west of Kedzie Avenue.
Police confirmed a motorcycle and a commercial vehicle collided in unclear circumstances.
One person was declared dead at the crash site.
No one else was injured in the collision.
Police closed southbound lanes to give way to an on-scene investigation. The roadway was reopened at about 5:15 a.m.
