Las Vegas, NV. – A driver was seriously injured in a car crash on Sunday night in east Las Vegas.
According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 6:30 p.m. on Sahara Avenue near Sloan Avenue.
A 2015 Chevrolet Silverado was traveling east on Sahara when the driver failed to negotiate a curve, jumped a curb, and crashed into a utility box and a block wall.
The driver was transported to Sunrise Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
