Grant County, OR – A motorcyclist was killed on Saturday in an accident in Grant County, according to the police.
The deadly accident occurred around 1:42 p.m. on August 30 on Highway 402 near milepost 31.5.
Police said a maroon Honda motorcycle was traveling eastbound on the highway when, for unknown reasons, it left the roadway onto loose gravel on the shoulder of the roadway, where it tipped over and rolled over several times.
The motorcyclist, Phillip Westly Bunger, 63, of Tacoma, WA, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
