Santa Fe, N.M. – One person was injured in a head-on collision on Friday night.

According to local police, the accident happened on St. Michaels Drive near Marner Avenue at around 9:39 p.m., August 29.

22-year-old Starlyn Staley was driving a car the wrong way when she collided head-on with another car.

The driver of the second car suffered two broken legs and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Stanley was arrested and charged with great bodily harm by vehicle (DWI), reckless driving, expired driver’s license, and possession of alcoholic beverages in open containers in a motor vehicle.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
