Authorities said Pahnke was riding his motorcycle southbound on Route 47, when for unknown reasons, he crossed the center line and crashed into the northbound semi.

Kendall County, IL. – 31-year-old Trent Pahnke of Aurora has been identified as the motorcyclist killed in a traffic collision on Saturday last week south of Yorkville in Kendall County.
According to the Kendall County Coroner’s Office, the accident happened at about 7:35 p.m. on August 23 on Route 47, north of Walker Road and south of Yorkville.
Authorities said Pahnke was riding his motorcycle southbound on Route 47, when for unknown reasons, he crossed the center line and crashed into the northbound semi.
Pahnke sustained blunt force injuries due to the collision and was declared dead at the crash site.
The semi driver did not suffer any injuries.
No other information concerning this crash was provided.
An investigation is underway.
