Elkhart County, IN. – Two people were killed and two others were hurt in a traffic collision on Friday morning in Elkhart County, according to the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Office.

The accident occurred a while after 7:45 a.m. on August 29, at County Road 17 and County Road 40.

Authorities said four vehicles were involved in the crash.

Deputies believed one of the cars failed to stop at a stop sign at the junction causing the accident.

Two persons were killed in the collision while two others suffered injuries due to the crash.
