Bethany, OR. – The woman who was injured Monday morning in a pedestrian accident in Bethany has died, according to deputies.
Muoi Du, 73, succumbed to her injuries on Thursday, August 28.
The accident happened around 10:52 a.m. on August 25 at the intersection of NW Deerfield Way and NW West Union Road.
Deputies said a gray Acura TSX was turning from NW West Union Road onto NW Deerfield Way when it struck Du, who was crossing the road.
DU was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries, where she died on Thursday.
Investigators do not believe impairment was a factor.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
