Phoenix, AZ – Two police officers were among three people who were injured early Wednesday morning in a three-vehicle accident in north Phoenix, according to the police.

The accident was reported around 4:20 a.m. on August 27, 2025, at the intersection of 19th Avenue and Dunlap Avenue.

Police said a police SUV was struck by a pickup truck at the intersection. A second pickup truck was also involved in the accident.

Two officers in the SUV were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The driver of the pickup truck that caused the accident was believed to have been intoxicated. He was also taken to the hospital for treatment.

The accident closed the intersection for several hours.

The police are investigating the accident.
