Kittitas County, WA – A Chattaroy woman was killed on Tuesday in a car accident in Kittitas County, according to the WSP.
The fatal accident happened on August 26, 2025, on Interstate 90 at milepost 70.
WSP said Elizabeth Lukas, 21, was driving westbound on the interstate when she failed to negotiate a curve, and struck a jersey barrier.
The car ended up on its side in the median.
Lukas died at the scene. She was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
No further details were provided.
Failure to negotiate a curve was determined as the cause of the accident.
