Cass County, IN. – A juvenile was seriously injured in a collision last Friday in Cass County.

According to the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, the accident happened at the intersection of U.S. Highway 24 and County Road 325 East around 11:40 p.m.

A 2006 Chrysler PT Cruiser was attempting to turn off of eastbound U.S. Highway 24 onto County Road 325 East when it struck a 2024 Chevrolet Silverado.

The adult driver of the PT Cruiser and an 11-year-old passenger sustained serious injuries and were flown to a local hospital for treatment.

The driver of the Silverado was transported to Parkview Hospital in Logansport before being transferred to Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne due to the serious nature of his injuries.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
