Las Vegas, NV – A 23-year-old man was killed Monday afternoon in a motorcycle accident in Las Vegas, according to the Metropolitan Police Department.

The deadly accident was reported around 3:30 p.m. on August 25 at the intersection of South Jones Boulevard and Eldora Avenue south of West Sahara Avenue.

Police said a Mercedes-Benz SUV was traveling eastbound when it turned into the path of a southbound motorcycle, resulting in a collision.

The motorcyclist, a 23-year-old Las Vegas man, was taken to University Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. His name has not been released.

The driver of the SUV was not impaired and stayed at the scene.

The police are investigating the accident.
