Evansville, IN. – Two people were injured in a head-on collision on Saturday night in Evansville.

According to the Evansville Police Department, the accident happened around 8:02 p.m. in the area of South Burkhardt Avenue and Williamsburg Drive.

47-year-old Todd Hanks was driving a car on the highway when he collided head-on with a second car.

Both Hanks and the second driver were taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Hanks told police he had two drinks earlier. He was arrested and taken to the Vanderburgh County Jail with three drunk driving charges.
