Police said the woman was heading southbound in a Nissan SUV, when for unknown reasons, she veered off the roadway and struck a tree.

Austin, IL. – A 2-year-old girl, a 4-year-old girl and a 25-year-old woman were hospitalized with critical injuries after a traffic collision early Saturday morning in Austin, according to the Chicago Police Department.
The accident occurred a while before 4:00 a.m. August 23, in the 900-block of North Central Avenue.
Police said the woman was heading southbound in a Nissan SUV, when for unknown reasons, she veered off the roadway and struck a tree.
The two girls and the woman were rushed to Stroger Hospital in a critical condition.
No other information concerning this collision was released.
An investigation is underway.
