Elk Grove Village, IL. – 59-year-old Maria De Lourdesde Jimenez was killed after a traffic collision on Saturday in Elk Grove Village, according to the Cook County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The accident occurred a while before noon on August 23 on Arlington Heights Road near the Elk Crossing Shopping Center.
The number of vehicles involved was not immediately released.
Jimenez was declared dead at the crash site.
Authorities blocked the roadway for hours and later reopened at about 6:53 p.m.
No additional details concerning this collision were provided.
