Shelburn, IN – One person was killed and another was injured Sunday morning in a two-vehicle accident in Shelburn, according to the authorities.
The fatal accident happened just after 10:30 a.m. on August 24 in the 1000 block of County Road 650 North.
Authorities said two vehicles were involved in the accident.
One of the drivers was trapped in the wreckage and was pronounced dead at the scene. Their identity has not been released.
The other driver was taken to Sullivan County Hospital for treatment.
Drugs and alcohol were not factors in the accident.
The accident closed the roadway for several hours.
