Police said at least one car struck a tree in unclear circumstances.

Indianapolis, IN. – One person was killed after a deadly crash on Friday afternoon in Indianapolis, according to the Indianapolis Metro Police Department.
The deadly collision happened at about 4:22 p.m. on August 22, on N Bolton Avenue and E 30th Street.
Police said at least one car struck a tree in unclear circumstances.
The Indianapolis Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and rushed the driver to an area hospital in a critical condition. The driver was declared dead a while after arriving at the hospital.
No other information concerning the crash was provided.
An investigation is ongoing.
