Albuquerque, NM. – A woman was killed in a motorcycle accident in Albuquerque on Tuesday evening.
According to New Mexico State Police, the accident happened around 6:20 p.m. on Interstate 40 near Eubank Boulevard.
A white 2006 Honda motorcycle was traveling westbound on Interstate 40 when the female rider lost control and crashed into a Jersey barrier.
The woman succumbed to her injuries while being transported to the hospital.
More details about the accident were not released.
