Las Vegas, NV. – A 14-year-old was injured after going to an area hospital on Wednesday night in Las Vegas, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
The accident happened at about 4:30 p.m. August 20 at the Abbeyfield Rose Drive and Amigo Street intersection.
Police said a dark colored sedan struck a 14-year-old pedestrian for reasons yet to be determined. The sedan driver then fled away from the crash site.
Responding emergency crews transported the teen to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Drivers were reminded to drive carefully when school buses are present and follow laws in the school zone.
