Courtney Withers failed field sobriety tests and was arrested on suspicion of DUI
Clay County, IN. – A pedestrian died after being struck by a car on Sunday in Clay County.
According to the Indiana State Police, the accident happened on State Road 59.
Samuel Chambers was walking in the area when he was struck by a car operated by Courtney Withers.
Chambers was found unresponsive in a ditch and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Withers failed field sobriety tests and admitted to drinking earlier.
She was arrested on suspicion of DUI.
