Randi Weldon Killed in Las Vegas Pedestrian Accident at Pecos and Tropicana

Las Vegas, NV. – Randi Weldon, 47, died following a pedestrian accident that left two other people injured on August 12 in south Las Vegas.

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened near South Pecos Road and East Tropicana Avenue at around 11 p.m.

A vehicle was traveling south on Pecos Road when it struck several pedestrians who were crossing the street.

Weldon was transported to a local hospital, where she later died.

Two other pedestrians were taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.

The driver, identified as Rafi Nersessian, 80, of Henderson, failed to remain at the scene but was later arrested and faces three counts of failing to stop at the scene of an accident involving injury.

More details about the accident were not released.

An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
