A female passenger in the car was not seriously hurt

Fernley, NV. – 75-year-old Steven Voris has been identified as the man who died in a car accident earlier this month in Fernley.
According to the Nevada State Police, the accident happened on U.S. 50A near 6th Street at around 1 p.m.
Voris was driving a 2017 Honda CR-V east on U.S. 50A when the car went on the right shoulder and hit a road sign.
The SUV continued across Lois Lane and through the front yard of a business, where it hit another sign.
Voris died at the scene.
A female passenger was not seriously hurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
