Police said the semi-truck and an SUV crashed in unclear circumstances.
Jefferson County, IL. – One person was killed after a semi-truck collision on Friday night in Jefferson County, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident occurred on August 15 at the Goshen Road Rest Area on I-64 at about 9:00 p.m. on August 15.
Police said the semi-truck and an SUV crashed in unclear circumstances.
The SUV driver was killed at the crash site.
The I-64 eastbound rest area entrance ramp was closed following the collision. The road has since been reopened.
No additional details regarding this collision were provided.
