The fatal accident occurred around 9:16 a.m. on August 15, in the 7700 block NE Highway 99 at Fred Meyer.

Vancouver, WA – One person was killed on Friday in a pedestrian accident in Vancouver, according to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO).

The fatal accident occurred around 9:16 a.m. on August 15, in the 7700 block NE Highway 99 at Fred Meyer.

Deputies said a truck hit a pedestrian. The pedestrian was taken to PeaceHealth Hospital where they later died. Their identity has not been released.

Impairment was not a factor in the accident.

The CCSO Traffic Homicide Detectives are investigating the accident.
