Portland, OR – A woman was seriously injured Sunday morning in a pedestrian accident in northeast Portland, according to the Portland Police Bureau.
The accident happened just before 9:00 a.m. on August 17 near the intersection of Northeast 122nd Avenue and Northeast Glisan Street.
Police said a woman was hit by a car and was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the car stayed at the scene after the accident.
The accident closed the intersection for about an hour.
The police are investigating the accident.
