Authorities said a vehicle and a motorcycle collided for reasons still under investigation.

Moro, IL. – One person was injured after a motorcycle accident on Sunday afternoon in Moro, according to the Illinois State Police.
The accident happened at about 11:56 a.m. August 17, at Illinois Route 140 and Illinois Route 159.

The Holliday Shores Fire Department responded to the crash site. One person was hurt and was flown to the hospital in St.Louis. Alton Memorial Ambulance also assisted at the crash site.
The roadway was closed to give way to an on-scene investigation.
No further information concerning this crash was provided.
