Gilbert, AZ – A man was seriously injured Saturday morning in a multi-vehicle accident in Gilbert, according to the police.
The accident happened around 9:00 a.m. on August 16 on Elliot Road just east of Val Vista.
Police said a man was driving eastbound when he failed to stop and crashed into vehicles that had stopped to yield to a pedestrian who was walking across the roadway.
The man was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Speed was a factor in the accident.
