Ellensburg, WA. – 58-year-old Richard Santos was injured in a motorcycle accident on Monday afternoon in Ellensburg.
The motorcycle accident happened on Interstate 90 at around 12:15 p.m., according to the Washington State Patrol.
The Lake Forest man was riding a motorcycle on the freeway when he attempted an improper pass and was struck by a pickup truck operated by 21-year-old Brian Murrell of Renton.
Santos was injured in the accident and was taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle.
Murrell and his passenger were unhurt.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is underway.
