Tallahassee, FL. – A 68-year-old man was killed and a 26-year-old driver were hospitalized following a single-vehicle rollover collision on Tuesday afternoon in Tallahassee.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the deadly crash occurred at around 4:00 p.m. on August 12, on T S Green Road.
Troopers said an Accord drove onto the road’s north shoulder, for unknown reasons, and the driver then oversteered/overcorrected the vehicle to the left. It then crossed T S Green and hit trees off the south shoulder before rolling over on its roof.
The 68-year-old male passenger was killed in the collision.
A 26-year-old driver was “up and walking” after the crash. He was transported to the hospital for treatment.
As of around 7:00 p.m. the roadways were blocked following the collision.
An investigation by the Leon County Sheriff’s Office, Tallahassee Fire Department and Leon County EMS is underway.
