Phoenix, AZ – One person was killed on Sunday in a car accident near Phoenix Sky Harbor Airport in Phoenix, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety troopers.
The fatal accident happened around midnight on August 10 on the westbound Loop 202 to southbound SR 143 ramp.
DPS said a car was involved in a single-vehicle accident, and the driver was pronounced dead at the scene. The victim’s identity has not been released.
No other details were provided.
The accident closed the on-ramp and was re-opened just before 5:00 a.m.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
