The deadly accident happened just after midnight on August 2 in the 28600 block of Northeast Reilly Road east of Fern Prairie.
Camas, WA – The teenager who was killed earlier this month in a single-car accident in Camas has been identified as Nicholas Allen Ortiz, 18, according to the Clark County Medical Examiner’s Office.
The deadly accident happened just after midnight on August 2 in the 28600 block of Northeast Reilly Road east of Fern Prairie.
Authorities said a vehicle was traveling eastbound when it left the road and struck a tree.
Ortiz, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The car driver, a 19-year-old, was taken to PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center for treatment.
No other information was provided.
The authorities are investigating the accident.
